At the induction ceremony, welcoming remarks were offered by Christian Newman, department head and the DMD chapter faculty adviser. He was  followed by Regina Kecht, academic director, who invited the students to become active ambassadors for Webster and DMD going forward.

About 30 people, including faculty, staff, and guests of the new members, active DMD members and interim DMD president Sona Klucarova were present as the inductees recited the initiation oath. The induction ceremony was followed by a reception.
