Last weekend was a busy and competitive one for Webster Vienna, which was host to multiple events that gathered people from across Webster University’s European campuses.

On the itinerary: song, football and bragging rights.

On the evening of Saturday, April 18, talented students took the stage for the third annual Webster’s Got Talent European Finals – and blew the socks off of those in attendance.

Cheered on by a boisterous crowd of students, staff, faculty, and friends, the winners of the local “Webster’s Got Talent” competitions at Vienna, Geneva and Leiden wowed the crowd.

Joslyn Valente of Webster Leiden was crowned champ for her acapella singing, while standup comic Kuhle Damba of Webster Geneva was runner-up. Vienna was represented by dancer Audrey Kodjo and singer Lindley Fritze.

Special thanks go out to the panel of guest expert judges: Birgit Jung and Gudrun Nyunt from the Arthur Murray Dance Academy, Soso from Soso’s Comedy Club, and former professional dancer Kateryna Gresenko.

Earlier that day, the action was on the football (soccer) pitch for Webster’s 13th European tournament. Two teams each from Webster Vienna, Geneva and Leiden campuses vied for bragging rights.

The first-place trophy went to Geneva 2, with Leiden 2 finishing runner-up.
