The Spring Open House Reception will be held Tuesday, April 28, in the East Academic Building

Webster University’s International Studies program will host a Spring Open House Reception on Tuesday, April 28, from 3:30-6 p.m. in the East Academic Building, room 336.

Join graduating seniors and prospective students, meet with program faculty, current students and see International Studies’ new curriculum content.

Highlights will include information about our new degree and job possibilities. Graduating seniors present their research. Appetizers and beverages will be provided.

Schedule of Events

  • 3:30-4 p.m. –  Curtis Stuesse presentation of senior capstone, “Negotiating of Women’s Roles in Hinduism”
  • 4-4:30 p.m. –  Madeline Dreher presentation of senior capstone, “Performing Rights: Interrogating Gender, Race and Nationalism through Opera”
  • 4:30-4:35 p.m. –  Introduction to International Studies, Paula Hanssen and faculty
  • 4:35-6 p.m. –  Socializing and networking reception

The International Studies program provides students with the skills and knowledge to navigate an increasingly globalized world. It offers students a better understanding of and appreciation for shared histories, different cultural practices and customs, and interdependent social, political and economic processes that shape the world today.
