Webster University Department of Music presents its February concerts and recitals

Upcoming Webster music events include opera scenes, the Jazz Collective, a special appearance on the Shepley Concert Series, the Chamber Orchestra, both Wind and Choral Ensembles.

The Department of Music invites you to experience upcoming musical offerings in late April and early May:

  • Spring Opera Scenes, April 17 and 18 at 7 p.m., Community Music School
  • Webster University Jazz Collective and Jazz Singers, April 20 at 7 p.m., Winifred Moore Auditorium
  • Webster University New Music Ensemble performing the music of Brian Eno, April 24 at 7 p.m., Community Music School
  • Special appearance on the Shepley Concert Series with music by student composers, April 26 at 2 p.m., Christ Church Cathedral
  • Webster University Chamber Orchestra, “From The New World,” April 26 at 7 p.m., Community Music School
  • Webster University Wind Ensemble the music of Kim Portnoy, April 27 at 7 p.m., Community Music School
  • Webster University Choral Ensembles sing DuruflĂ©’s Requiem, May 3 at 7:30 p.m., Trinity Lutheran Church

Performance locations vary, so please check carefully in order to ascertain the specific hall. Parking for Moore Auditorium is available in lots near Webster Hall and on Lockwood Avenue. Parking for the Community Music School is in the Garden Avenue parking garage.
