Electrical Customer Substation Phase 2 work March 27-April 2, some impact on Hazel and Garden

On Friday, March 27, and Monday, March 30, the contractor will begin pulling the electrical cables through the underground duct bank and directionally bored conduits from the new electrical customer substation’s location along the south side of Garden Avenue to Manhole #4 by the Club House for the Webster Village Apartments. During this phase, there will be no pedestrian or vehicular interference.

On Tuesday, March 31, the contractor will pull the electrical cable from the manhole by the Club House for the Webster Village Apartments to Manhole #10 by East Hall.

On Wednesday, April 1, they will pull the electrical cable from Manhole #4 to the existing manhole in the lawn by the University Center along Edgar Road. During this phase, one lane at Hazel Avenue and Garden Avenue will be blocked. The contractor will have a flagman present to direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

On Thursday, April 2, the contractor will pull the electrical cable from Manhole #13 by the Visual Arts Building to the existing manhole in the lawn of the University Center along Edgar Road. During this phase, they will have two parking spaces on Lot H blocked and a flagman present to help with directing pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
