Grant Chapman, associate vice president and director of International Programs, has accepted a new position as assistant provost of International Administration for the Office of International Programs at Kansas State University. He will be leaving Webster at the end of February.

“Grant’s ability to forge relationships with international partners has been invaluable,” said Webster President Elizabeth J. (Beth) Stroble. “We appreciate his expertise and his dedication to advancing Webster’s mission as a global institution. We will miss him as our colleague and wish him the best of luck in his new position.”

Under Grant’s leadership, Webster has expanded its study abroad programs, increased the number of WINS affiliates, and developed and strengthened relationships with academic partners worldwide. He has oversight for the Office of Study Abroad, international partnerships, the Center for International Education, International Visiting Scholars and exchange programs.

“Grant has been invaluable to Webster’s growth internationally,” said Julian Z. Schuster, Webster’s provost, senior vice president and chief operating officer. “We wish him well in his future endeavors and thank him for his years of service as Webster has expanded its operations around the world.”

Please join Webster University colleagues in wishing Grant the very best in his future endeavors at a celebration at 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 in Loretto Hall 402. (Note: This is a change from the event time that was originally announced.)

This is a loss for Webster and a win for Kansas State. Thank you for working with us in Geneva, Grant. As you will still be in International Programmes, you may pass through Switzerland again so stop by. Best wishes in your new position.
