Campus Safety Alert: Reported robbery north of campus

Two people reported being robbed at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night near the intersection of North Bompart and Lake avenues, about one block north of Webster University on the east side of Eden Seminary. The police said the victims are not students, faculty or staff at Webster University.

The University is sending this message to make the campus community aware of potential criminal activity nearby. Please remember to try and park in well-lit areas such as University parking lots or the parking garage and be aware of your surroundings, including any suspicious people in the area. The University has blue-light phones throughout the campus that will immediately connect you to public safety in case of an emergency or suspicious activity.

Members of the Webster University community also can call Public Safety at 314-968-7430 (non-emergency line) or 314-968-6911 (emergency line).

Webster University also offers public safety escorts for any Webster University student, faculty or staff who does not feel safe walking to their vehicle. That can be arranged by calling Public Safety’s non-emergency line.
