New Lakeland, Florida Campus Director Named

Webster University’s Office of Academic Affairs welcomes Michele D’Alessio as the new director of the Lakeland, Florida campus location.

D’Alessio has been in higher education for the last 13 years, serving most recently as senior director of admissions for South University in Tampa. While there, she assisted in growing that campus from 300 students to more than 900, holding the record for the most consecutive enrollment budgets met. She also served several years at the University of Phoenix’s Tampa campus,  where she progressed from enrollment counselor to director of enrollment in just two years.

“Michele’s experience in higher education recruitment and retention, along with her commitment to academic excellence, will be assets to the Lakeland campus,” said Academic Affairs associate vice president Carol Adams. “I am certain the campus will thrive under her leadership.”

D’Alessio holds a Bachelors of Social Work from the University of South Florida and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix-Tampa.
