Former Student Government Association president Michael Grosch is studying in Leiden during the Spring semester, and the first student in charge of the MyWebsterU Instagram account.

Webster University has launched a new Instagram account this week: MyWebsterU. Viewers of MyWebsterU can see photos and videos  from the vantage point of Webster University students.

Each week, a different student will take over the account and post photos of their classes, activities, job and everything else that makes up their unique Webster University experience. Students from the Webster Groves campus and other global campus locations will be posting photos throughout the semester.

Throughout this first week, Michael Grosch will be in charge of the account. Grosch is a former Student Government Association president and is studying abroad at Webster University’s Leiden campus during this term.

To view the photos, you can follow the MyWebsterU Instagram account or follow the hashtag #mywebsteru on Twitter — or just check out updates at this special Webster page: www.webster.edu/instagram/mywebsteru.html.

Students who are interested in volunteering for the account can e-mail Jennifer Starkey, media relations officer, at jenstarkey@webster.edu.

Instagram is an online photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr.
