Armbruster on Animals in Lit

Karla Armbruster presented the lecture, “The Echoing Call of the Wild: Dogs and Their Wolfish Ancestry in Literature,” as part of the Animals and Society Institute and Michigan Humane Society’s Speaker Series on May 16.

Erickson’s ‘Honor Student’ Honored Again


Michael Erickson‘s play Honor Student has won the Playwrights First national play writing award sponsored by the National Arts Club in Manhattan.

Honor Student will have an invited reading in New York in the fall.

The play previously won the Coe College New Works for the Stage Competition and was a finalist for the Woodward/Newman playwriting award.
