Delta Dental is changing the reimbursement rates they pay dentists in Missouri effective July 1, 2013. This change does not impact our specific plan coverage or dental benefits. Delta Dental indicates that these changes are intended to be pro-consumer with a reduction in claims costs and out-of-pocket expenses.
If a dentist changes network status with Delta Dental as a result of this change, or for any reason, employees who have seen the dentist within the last 12 months will be notified directly at their home address. Employees can confirm at any time if their dentist is in the PPO or Premier network by visiting www.DeltaDentalMO.com and clicking on “Looking for a Dentist,” or by calling Delta Dental at 1-800-335-8266.
As a reminder, you can use any dentist you wish through our plans, but your out-of-pocket expenses are lowest if you utilize the PPO network. If any questions regarding this information, contact Paula Eschmann, benefits coordinator, 314-968-6961 or email@example.com.
