Belvedere Singing Competition

Webster University hosts one of only eight North American first-round sites in the Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition this Saturday, April 27, at noon in Moore Auditorium. The event is free of charge to all.

Five young singers will participate. The local jury includes three outstanding artistic directors and conductors.

Many vocal coaches and teachers consider the Gabor Belvedere Competition, now in its 32nd year, to be one of the most important vocal competitions in the world.

Finals with full orchestra take place this July in Amsterdam, after decades in Vienna. Winners receive performance contracts and representation with major agents.

Information on the Gabor Belvedere Competition is posted at their website.
