In the News [Video]: Webster Chess on KTRS; Lange on Soccer in St. Louis

| April 3, 2013

Two recent over-the-air news features involving Webster University:

Webster’s chess team is headed to the collegiate “final four” of chess this weekend, so KTRS-AM’s “The McGraw Show” with McGraw Millhaven had head coach Susan Polgar and freshman grandmaster Ray Robson on air to discuss the tournament and the growth of chess in St. Louis.

Listen to (and watch) their interview below:

English Premier League teams Chelsea FC and Manchester City will be playing a May exhibition game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, and tickets sold out in minutes. In a feature on the event and the St. Louis community’s interest in soccer, TV station Fox2 turned to Dave Lange, adjunct faculty in the School of Communications to discuss the city’s long soccer history. Lange is the author of the book “Soccer Made in St. Louis.” Watch his appearance on Fox2 here.
