Conservatory in the News: Alum is ‘Gypsy of the Month;’ Jackson Designs for Manilow

Recent news involving the Webster University Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts:

Kevin Worley, an alumnus of the Conservatory of Theatre Arts in Webster’s Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts, appears in the new production of Rodgers and Hammersteins Cinderella, arriving on Broadway for the first time ever. The roles earned him a profile as “Gypsy of the Month” at

Seth Jackson, visiting assistant professor, collaborated with Barry Manilow to design the lighting at St. James Theatre for Manilow on Broadway, the star’s return to the Broadway stage after a 20-year hiatus. The successful design yielded what Jackson refers to as a stylized one-man show, rather than a traditional solo concert. The production runs through March 2.
