Deadlines Extended for Messing Award, Faculty Research Grants: Due Nov. 30

Reminder: Webster University’s Office of the Provost and Senior Vice President and Office of Academic Affairs are accepting faculty nominations for the 2013 Messing Faculty Award [PDF] and 2012-2013 Faculty Research Grants [PDF].

The Messing Faculty Award is presented to a full-time faculty member for summer activity which will strengthen the curriculum of his/her department or improve the teaching/learning relationship.

The deadline for the Messing Award is now Friday, Nov. 30 [This deadline has been extended from the previously announced date]. Download 2013 Messing Faculty Award information here [PDF].

The purpose of the Faculty Research Grant program is to encourage and promote faculty research and professional development. Grant applications are invited for scholarly research, academic projects, artistic performances, exhibitions, and studies in any discipline.

Applicants are encouraged to speak to their chair, dean, and/or previous recipients for more information.
