Sept. 24: Jazz Concert Highlights the Music of Pat Metheny

Webster University presents “Have You Heard” — a jazz concert dedicated to the music of Grammy Award-winning guitarist and composer Pat Metheny on Monday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Winifred Moore Auditorium.

Formed in 2010 by guitarist Tom Byrne, the band is made up of seasoned veterans of the St. Louis music scene. Byrne himself is a long time St. Louis area jazz favorite and adjunct professor of music in jazz studies at Webster University.

Byrne fronts the band on guitar and guitar synthesizer along with renowned St. Louis entertainer Ralph Butler on vocals and percussion. Rounding out the group are Mike Carosello on keyboards, Chris Watrous on 8-string electric bass and adjunct music professor Ron Carr on drums.

Admission is $5 for the general public, $3 for senior adults and free to Webster University students, faculty and staff  with valid Webster ID.
