Learn Chess with the SPICE Team in October
Update, Sept. 14: Sign up soon – only three spots left!
Ever wanted to learn how to play chess, but not sure how to begin? The Webster Staff Alliance (WSA) and the Susan Polgar Institute for Chess Excellence have a wonderful opportunity for you.
Susan Polgar and WSA invite Webster University staff to make that dream a reality by joining her on Oct. 1, 2 and 4 from 12 – 1 p.m. in the SPICE office in Sverdrup 201.
Susan and members of the SPICE team will teach you how to play — just imagine learning chess from the very best. To ensure that you have a better opportunity to retain what you learned, we ask you to commit to all three days.
Please RSVP here by Tuesday, Sept. 25. But sign up soon — space is limited to 24 people.
If you have questions, please contact Sarah Nandor, WSA Membership Chair, at ext. 7109. We look forward to learning chess together!

Is this strictly for those who have never played chess before? Or is there also an opportunity for those of us who are extremely rusty but want to get back into it?
Hello DeLyle,
I would say that this is for everyone at all levels.
