Team Webster Works

Get ready for the 9th incarnation of “Team Webster Works” —  students, alumni, staff members and friends of Webster University, who cycle for a cause.

Each September the St. Louis team participates in the Gateway MS Bike Ride (www.gatewaymsbikeride.org), helping raise more than $3 million for local families impacted by Multiple Sclerosis.

We’ll make the experience easy! The September 8-9 event offers routes of 40, 75 or 100 miles on gently rolling, well-paved roads. Team Webster Works hosts a team tent where riders can relax afterward and recount their adventures. We’ve also reserved a block of hotel rooms or riders can elect to camp at the ride site.

Team Webster Works participation is also available throughout Webster’s campus network. Cyclists registering for any charity ride may obtain a team jersey for $20 (all others $50). Please contact Rachel Johnes in the Alumni & Development Office at racheljohnes25@webster.edu or 314-968-7142 to learn how you, too, can cycle for a cause as a team member.

If you can’t ride, other volunteer opportunities are available throughout the MS Ride weekend. All are also welcome to support the team efforts (or any individual rider) through a sponsorship of any amount. Online gifts can be made through www.gatewaymsbikeride.org.
