A delegation from Webster U. in Leiden visited Tbilisi State U. in Georgia

A delegation from Webster University’s campus in Leiden, the Netherlands, returned from a recent visit to Tbilisi State University in Georgia to present their findings in a professional seminar, “Doing Business in Cross Cultural Environment” at the Leiden campus June 22, 2012.

The keynote speaker for the event was the Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Shota Gvineria.

Arthur De La Loza, head of the Department of Business and Management at Leiden, and Leiden director Jean Paul van Marissing summed up the outcomes of the recent trip to Georgia. They spoke of the existing cooperation between the Georgian side and Webster University.

Guests spoke about banking, cultural exchange, and the challenges of doing business across cultures. Famous Georgian TV personality and general manager of the Night Show studio Davit Gogichaishvili (nightshowstudio.ge) also appeared at the event, which closed with a “speed-networking” session.
