Webster University baseball - NCAA regional champs

Baseball Gorloks welcomed home following NCAA world series.

The University community is invited to join Webster’s baseball team in participating in the Webster Groves Community Days Parade on Wednesday, July 4.

The University’s float will feature our amazing Gorlok baseball team, who won the NCAA regional championship, made it to the World Series for the first time in Webster history, and finished ranked eighth in the nation (NCAA Division III). Go Gorloks!

Parade participants will gather behind Webster Hall at approximately 9:15 a.m. and then proceed as a group to the staging area, usually on the north side of Lockwood Ave., in front of Holy Redeemer Church. The route is approximately two miles long and takes about 70 minutes to walk. Water will be provided.

Parade marchers are requested to wear red, white or blue shirts. A few t-shirts will be available on a first-come, first served basis. Rides will be provided from the end of the parade route (the Webster Groves Recreational Center) back to the parking lot behind Webster Hall.

If you plan to participate, please email Barb Ehnes at ehnesba@webster.edu or call 968-7174, by June 15.
