March 19: Book Club Discusses ‘Digging to America’

| February 28, 2012

Two very different couples – the Donaldsons, white middle class Americans, and the Yazdans, Iranian immigrants – form an unlikely bond through the experience of adopting infant daughters from Korea. Anne Tyler’s novel, Digging to America, follows both couples for the first seven years of their daughters’ lives punctuated by an annual “arrival party” they all share.

Join the Webster University Book Club as we read Digging to America: A Novel by Anne Tyler. We have a very special discussion leader: Webster University President Beth Stroble. Meet us March 19 at noon in the Library Conference Room to share your impressions of the book. Feel free to bring your lunch. Everyone is welcome!
