Grant Opportunities for New Courses: NEH Enduring Questions Program

| February 6, 2012

NEH Enduring QuestionsWebster University faculty from all departments (not just Humanities) can apply for an Enduring Questions Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Grants provide a $15,000 faculty stipend to develop a new course that encourages undergraduates to explore a fundamental question through readings from influential thinkers over the centuries and into the present day.

An additional $10,000 can be requested for books, consulting, research, student activities, dissemination and promotion related to the new course. The course can be developed by one to four faculty members, but not team taught. Learn more at the Enduring Questions website.

Don’t miss this great grant opportunity: Applications for 2013 funding are due in late summer. Contact Carolyn Corley or Linda Dahlgren to get started.
