‘Love Gone Wrong, Songs of Love Amuck’ Concert Feb. 9

Webster University presents a Faculty Voice and Piano Concert: “Love Gone Wrong, Songs of Love Amuck,” a tribute to the dark side of love. The performers will sing about waiting for our true love to come along, losing our true love, our responses to lost love and love in the non-human world.

The repertoire includes works by Faure, Copland, and Daugherty and from the music theater world (Sondheim, Jason Robert Brown). Performers include: Martha Hart, mezzo-soprano;Victoria Carmichael, mezzo-soprano; Jeffrey Carter, baritone; and Nancy Mayo on piano.

Date/Time: Thursday, Feb. 9, 7 p.m.
Location: Music Building Recital Hall, 8282 Big Bend Blvd.
Admission: $5 general public; $3 senior adults; free to Webster students, faculty and staff with Webster I.D.
