This weekend the Webster University Film Series presents “Halloween Creep Out: Three by John Carpenter.”

THE THING (John Carpenter, 1982, USA, 109 min) – Friday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m.

A shape-shifting alien that assumes the appearance of the people that it kills confronts scientists in the Antarctic.    Carpenter’s gory homage/ remake of Howard Hawk’s THE THING FROM ANOTHER PLANET features his long time go-to man, Kurt Russell as R.J. McReady.

THE FOG (John Carpenter, 1980, USA, 89 min) – Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m.

A Northern California fishing town, built 100 years ago over an old leper colony, is the target for revenge by a killer fog containing zombie-like ghosts seeking revenge for their deaths.  Featuring a Scream Queen Trilogy: Adrienne Barbeau, Jaimie Lee Curtis and Janet Leigh.

HALLOWEEN (John Carpenter, 1978, USA, 91 min) – Sunday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m.

A psychotic murderer institutionalized since childhood escapes on a mindless rampage while his doctor (Donald Pleasence) chases him through the streets.

Admission is $6 for the general public, $5 for seniors (60 +), students from other schools and Webster alumni, and $4 for Webster University staff and faculty unless otherwise noted.
