Faculty-Staff Campaign Under Way

| March 30, 2011

The Faculty-Staff Campaign is now under way. Your participation is so important as we look toward the successful completion of the Webster Works Campaign. This year our goal is to increase participation by 8 percent in order to receive a paid day off.

By now, you should have received a letter from the Office of Development, by office mail or at your home, outlining the details surrounding this year’s initiatives. Because this year’s faculty and staff fundraiser is taking place during the final months of Webster Works: The Campaign for Webster University, Webster University employees can have a special impact on the success of this campaign, the success of the University and the success of our students.

Last year, employee giving participation exceeded the set goal. We are hoping to increase participation by 8 percent over last year. We have also included a special option to purchase a personalized brick as a part of the Webster Works Campaign at http://blogs.webster.edu/campaign. Make your gift right now or anytime before May 3 at http://alumni.webster.edu/facstaff_give to be eligible for the following incentives:

All University employees will receive a paid day-off on Friday, May 27 (the Friday before Memorial Day), if Webster University employees increase their participation by 8 percent

• Webster Groves Campus Faculty and Staff who make a gift will be entered in a drawing for the free reserved parking spaces (one for faculty and one for staff).

• Extended Campus staff who make a gift will be entered in a drawing for a free Amazon Kindle® equipped with free 3G and Wi-Fi.

Don’t forget about the Faculty Staff Campaign Early Bird Special for all St. Louis Metro employees  — those who make a gift or pledge by Friday, April 1, will be entered into a drawing for Luxury Suite seats at the St. Louis Blues home game on Saturday, April 9.

The final deadline to make your gift or pledge is Tuesday, May 3, 2011. You can also set up a payroll pledge by completing your Faculty-Staff Pledge Form and returning it to the Development Office in Loretto Hall, attention: Rachel Johnes. All forms must be received by Tuesday, May 3.

We’re getting closer to hitting our goal. Make your gift today. Continued thanks to all of our current donors.
