The Community Music School of Webster University was featured Jan. 13 on the KMOX-TV morning program, “Great Day in St. Louis,” hosted by Carol Daniel. Two young Suzuki cello students from the School performed on the program. On Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, a group of five musicians from the CMS Preparatory program, who are members of the Saint Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, will be profiled on the KETC-TV (PBS) program, “Living St. Louis,” which airs locally at 7 p.m. The CMS Preparatory program is for advanced young musicians planning to study in a college conservatory or music program.

Patrick Powers, interactive media manager, Marketing, co-hosted an online forum Jan. 20 on college social media at WashingtonPost.com.

Karen Luebbert, vice president and executive assistant to the President, was inducted into the Incarnate Word Hall of Fame Jan. 22 for her outstanding contributions and achievements in education and service to the education community.
