2011-12 YIHR: Focus on Refugee Rights

| December 15, 2010

From Andrea Miller, coordinator, Year of International Human Rights:

The College of Arts & Sciences has announced that the the Year of International Human Rights for the upcoming academic year (2011-2012) will focus on Refugee Rights. I know many of you have been a part of the selection process and I thank you for your work.

I am now asking for you to submit suggestions by January 10, 2011, for books, speakers, and co-curricular activities that would enhance the year.

As many of you already know, 2011-2012 would commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the United Nations Refugee Convention. To continue our success, the Year of International Human Rights and the Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies looks forward to your suggestions.

Please forward book suggestions to Andrea Miller at andreamiller31@webster.edu.
