| December 1, 2010

The department of Media and Communications at Webster University Geneva will hold its annual Media Trends Conference in March 2011. The conference will be focusing on ways in which the media are used to advocate humanitarian causes with a particular emphasis on women’s rights.

This theme is in line with the common book being used by Webster’s College of Arts and Science for the Year of International Human Rights, Kristof and WuDunn’s “Half the Sky.“

If you have proposals for papers, projects and presentations, please send them to by the 10th of February.
