Student Organizations

Webster University has more than 50 student organizations registered with the Student Government Association. Below you will find a list of student organizations that align with the mission of the Multicultural Center and International Student Affairs.  To find out more information about these student organizations, please visit Involved@Webster.

African Student Association (ASA)

The purpose of the Webster University African Student Association is to serve as a platform where members will come and discuss about African issues as well as sharing their culture. This association is to also organize events where every body can come and learn about the African continent; also this organization will serve as a support for Webster University’s African students.

Association for African American Collegians (AAAC)

The Association for African American Collegians has been committed in its leadership role, both academically and socially to promote cultural awareness and sensitivity. As an organization we stimulate growth and motivate students to become more involved in shaping their own destinies within Webster University.  Visit AAAC’s Facebook page.

Chinese Student Association (CSA)

The Chinese Student Association’s purpose is to promote communication, friendship and academic exchange amongst its members. CSA provides help and services to its members, especially those who are new to Webster University. The other goal of the organization is to promote friendship, mutual understanding and cultural exchange between its members and the Webster University Community.

Gospel Choir

Our purpose is to raise the level of awareness in the area of gospel music.  Members will learn how to reach a level of professionalism by perfecting their voices and developing a good sense of sound in a gospel chorale setting.

International Student Association (ISA)

The International Student Association’s mission is to unite all students of diversity, and to acknowledge the cultural aspects and similarities that these diverse students offer to Webster University. ISA will also assists the international students in adapting to campus and college life and to any other situations they may encounter.  Visit ISA’s Facebook page.

Japanese Student Association (JSA)

JSA is a long standing student organization at Webster University, significantly successful for recent years by joining and performing at every M.C.I.S.A. event, collaborating with International Language & Culture Department and other student organizations, and launching flourishing Japanese Cultural Night each academic year.

Latin American Student Organization (LASO)

LASO at Webster University is a student organization that is geared towards providing a common ground for the Latino community and to organize events for all of Webster’s community to come, enjoy and discover Hispanic culture.  Visit LASO’s Facebook  page.

Muslim Student Association (MSA)

The MSA is an organization dedicated to providing an inclusive,inviting, educational and social environment for Webster Muslims and works to build bridges amongst them and other groups on campus and in the St. Louis community.


We enhance sportsmanship through soccer in a free environment, educate students and form leaders in a safe and competitive atmosphere, and form bonds that unite people and cultures through soccer.

Webster University Feminist Collective

Feminist Collective strives to promote a more accepting, empowering environment through facilitating conversation concerning gender roles and inequalities, race, consent, body expectations, the portrayal of men and women in the media, and what affects these things have on society. Webster students will benefit by having an open, nonjudgmental forum where all ideas will be considered and discussed to promote healthy communication regarding feminist issues.

Webster LGBTQ Alliance

The Alliance provides support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students. It is open to all campus members who support equal rights for gays and lesbians in the community.  View their webpage here.
