Gloria enjoys a different type of competition.

The dog show on campus was great fun. There were contests for best dressed, smallest, largest, pedigreed, puppy and miscellaneous, and then a King and Queen were crowned. #gloria41 #webster100

Nothing but net for Gloria.

Here are two of my teammates. I love playing basketball and am very proud of our team. This semester we are playing Fontbonne, Harris, and the St. Louis Hockey Association. #gloria41 #webster100

Gloria studies the classics.

You should think about joining the Classical Club. We have monthly meetings and sometimes get together with the Classical Club at St. Louis University. Recently I gave a report on Athenian Women and Virginia Riehemann gave one on Roman Women and Roman Marriages. #gloria41 #webster100

Gloria gets a ticket.

Can you believe I got a speeding ticket? I told the officer I was rushing to take my finals but it didn’t make a difference to him. Now I have to hand over $3.00 to pay it off. Talk about stress on top of stress!  #gloria41 #webster100

Gloria enters a posture contest.

People thought we were crazy to sponsor a posture contest but it turned out to be a lot of fun. Everyone was graded on their posture by their classroom teachers, and then we had a fashion show with the top scoring girls as models. Marjorie Hambrough won the title of “Miss W.C.” which came as no surprise. She looked so stylish in that black coat with a leopard print Peter Pan collar.  #gloria41 #webster100

Gloria joins the club.

Here’s a photo of the Chemistry-Biology club. Between Spanish and Classical Club, basketball and volleyball, the Athletic Association, and Vodvil, I’ve been one busy gal. #gloria41 #webster100

Gloria celebrates Webster’s 25th birthday.

Can you believe Webster is 25 years old this year? Our vodvil variety show will celebrate the anniversary with music and dance. I think my favorite number is “Nothing Ever Happens at Nite”. “The police won’t believe it,  The records won’t prove it, But proctors of Loretto Hall, and aren’t they a sight, say ‘Nothing Ever Happens at Night’.    #gloria41 #webster100

Gloria gets penalized for cutting assembly.

Guilty as charged, your honor. The Campus Guide says we can cut one student assembly but any more than that is considered a major offense. I had to “do my time” by spending all day one Saturday on campus. #gloria41 #webster100

Gloria shares a photo of her friends in the Drum & Bugle Corps.

A lot of my friends are in the Drum & Bugle Corps. They get to play at numerous events on campus. I think they have the best uniforms around! #gloria41 #webster100

Gloria and her summer job.

I was so excited to be chosen as a playground director in Kirkwood this summer. Here’s a photo of the St. Peters playground children at Lake Hill Park. #gloria41 #webster100kastscrap_campers_page041
