She looks forward to studying abroad and gaining new perspectives on world cultures and global issues. In addition to her academic interests and love for travel, Meade also enjoys spending time outdoors, baking, and making handmade jewelry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>May 2026 Student Reviewer: <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Elias Tannous <\/span><\/strong>is an independent filmmaker from Waterloo IL, studying Film and Television Production at Webster University &#8211; Saint Louis. Raised in a Palestinian American household, they work to highlight under-represented stories that challenge audiences&#8217; preconceptions. While their work varies in genre, their commitment to authenticity remains the same.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2026\/27 Student Editors:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><strong>Layla Halilbasic<\/strong> is a first-generation Bosnian American who is studying journalism and pursuing a paralegal certificate at Webster University &#8211; Saint Louis. Halilbasic was a reporting fellow for the <em>Fulcrum<\/em>, senior editor for Webster\u2019s student magazine, reporting intern for the <em>Webster-Kirkwood Times<\/em>, staff writer for Webster\u2019s student newspaper, and is now a production assistant at St. Louis Public Radio. When she isn\u2019t working, she\u2019s likely entertaining Lola, her spirited tabico cat, or feeding her not-so-secret love of <em>Wicked<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"mark2zjtjx34s\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Kelsey<\/span> Kozuszek <\/strong>is a third year International Relations and Language\/Transcultural Studies double major at Webster University &#8211; Saint Louis. She is a proud executive team member of the History, Politics, and International Relations Club, which focuses on promoting cultural and historical celebrations alongside educational activities for the \u201cHPIR\u201d department. She is also a board member of Webster\u2019s United Nations Association Chapter, works extensively with Amnesty International, and conducts research primarily on international maritime law.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Natalie Polach <\/strong>is a transfer student at Webster University &#8211; Saint Louis who is majoring in Media Studies and minoring in International Human Rights. She chose to join the <em>Righting Wrongs<\/em> editorial team because she wants to get more involved with her school and learn more about human rights overall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Faculty Editor<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Lindsey Kingston<\/strong> is Professor of International Human Rights at Webster University. She serves as Director of the Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian Studies, which includes overseeing the undergraduate human rights program.
