During construction, use the second floor entrance to the Emerson Library, on the quad.

As previously announced, Edgar Road between Big Bend Boulevard and Catalina Avenue and Garden Avenue between Hazel Avenue and Edgar Road (the area marked in red on this map) will be closed to both foot and vehicular traffic between July 6 and Aug. 14 while the city of Webster Groves installs a left turn lane on southbound Edgar at Garden Avenue. Edgar Road is scheduled to re-open to traffic on or about Aug. 14, 2015, weather permitting.

While the library will retain its summer hours and services during the construction, the Edgar Road entrance will be locked. All library users must enter and exit the building via the second floor entrance during this time.

Disability Services is advising that students and visitors who need an accessible pick-up/drop-off spot or parking close to the library use the circle drive in front of the Visual Arts Studios building (Building 31 on the Webster University campus map) on Big Bend Blvd. for drop off and pick up to the library during this time.
