Electrical Substation Phase 2: Transformer Work, June 8-12

Work continues on Phase 2 of the Electrical Customer Substation project. Please see below for local impact of transformer work conducted the week of June 8-12.

East and West Hall: On Monday June 8, 2015, the contractor will begin excavation work to tie the new conduits into the transformer for future electrical tie-ins at East and West Hall’s transformer. The duration of this work is two days. There will be no pedestrian or vehicular obstructions.

Parking Garage: On Tuesday June 9, 2015, the contractor will begin excavation work to tie the new conduits into the transformer for future electrical tie-ins at the Parking Garage. The duration of this work is two days.  There will be no pedestrian obstructions, but two parking spaces will be utilized.

East Academic Building: On Thursday June 11, 2015, the contractor will be boring into the east wall of East Academic Building in order install electrical conduits into the building for the installation of a new electrical transformer. The duration of this work is two days. There will be no pedestrian or vehicular obstructions.
