Community Music School orchestras and ensembles provide opportunities for young musicians to sharpen their performance skills.

Audition applications are now being accepted for the 2015-2016 Community Music School (CMS) of Webster University’s orchestra and ensembles.

Band and string students ages 7 years through high school are encouraged to apply and audition for the CMS of Webster University’s orchestras or ensembles including: String Ensemble, String Orchestra, Young People’s Concert Orchestra, Young People’s Symphonic Orchestra, Music Today!, Preparatory Program (chamber music), and Percussion Ensemble. Requirements are included in the application booklet. Orchestras and ensembles rehearse weekly at the CMS headquarters in Webster Groves.

Application deadlines begin as early as July 24. Applications and deadlines can be found online or by calling (314) 968-5939.
