Regional Teaching and Technology Conference

The regional conference is an opportunity to present and connect with peers on emerging teaching technology applications to higher education.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to consider attending or submitting proposals to the 2015 Focus on Teaching and Technology Conference, a regional conference planned by representatives from nearly 15 institutions. Webster University community members have presented at this conference in past years.

The call for proposals is out, with submissions due by July 1, 2015. For questions, contact Keeta Holmes, holmeskm@umsl.edu or 314-516-7134.

The 2015 Focus on Teaching and Technology Conference is on Nov. 12-13, 2015 on the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus. Organizers are soliciting proposals for workshops, concurrent sessions, and discussion panels and are particularly interested in sessions that facilitate interaction among all participants.

This is an opportunity to share innovative technology and teaching experiences or forward this information to interested colleagues and encourage their participation. Last year’s presenters from Webster included Elvir Mandzukic, Joseph Roberts and Julie Smith.

Registration for the conference will open on/around Aug. 1, 2015 with discounts for presenters, early registrations, and institutional partners.  Institutional partners will be listed on the registration page on/around Aug. 1.
