The Big Brothers Big Sisters visit offered students the opportunity to meet and connect with Webster students to learn about opportunities in further education.

Webster University hosted a special home campus visit from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri on April 3, coordinated by the Office of Admission’s Corey Hawkins and Academic Resource Center’s Erin Bullerdieck.

The group included middle school students (“Littles”), their parents, and the students’ matches (“Bigs”). While enjoying lunch, the group sat through an interactive presentation learning about college and what it takes to get there. Next, they toured the campus which included a visit to the audio production studio in the Sverdrup Building and firsthand experience into song creation.

They had the opportunity to interact with current students who provided perspective on college life and preparedness tips as they matriculate to high school. The days events concluded with pictures with the Gorlok in the University Center.
