The global webinar with World Bank’s senior recruitment officer involved students from Webster’s Geneva, Leiden, St. Louis and Vienna campuses.

Webster University Career Services and Career Planning & Development teams at the Webster Geneva, Leiden, St. Louis and Vienna campuses collaborated to create a unique opportunity for students to meet and interact with an international recruiter from the World Bank.

On Wednesday, April 22, students from these four campuses participated in a Webster University global recruiting webinar with Roberto Amorosino, senior recruitment officer on the Talent Acquisition Team at the World Bank.

Amorosino gave an overview of the World Bank, presented the variety of career opportunities available, and offered tips on how to be a successful candidate. This interactive webinar invited students to ask questions about the organization and their hiring practices.

With staff from over 170 countries present in 120 offices worldwide, the webinar gave our students a chance to learn more about how they could join this international team whose goals are to end extreme poverty and build shared prosperity.

In addition, the World Bank was able to witness Webster’s international presence, leveraging its global infrastructure to support student-centered, academic excellence.

“This was truly a global career development experience,” said Trezette Dixon, assistant director, Employer Relations, Webster University Career Planning & Development Center. “Through advanced technology, our students were able to interact with an international recruiter while engaging with fellow students from our international campuses.”
