Online Resources and Upcoming Q&A Sessions for New IT Service Management System

Beginning Wednesday, April 22, Webster University Information Technology will be using the new Cherwell Service Management system for work orders. You will continue to go to www.webster.edu/technology/service-desk/work-orders to enter a new request.

Documentation and a couple of short walk-through videos will be available to help you get acquainted with the new system. Those can be accessed on the IT website.

Additionally, we will be holding two Q&A sessions. The first will be on Monday, April 27, at 10 a.m. in the Sunnen Lounge. IT staff will show a brief walk-through of the new system and answer any questions you may have.

The second session will be held via WebEx on Thursday, April 30, at 1 p.m. The WebEx URL for the April 30 session is:

As IT staff transfer work orders from the old service management system to the new one, you may receive email messages about “new” work orders in the system that are actually older. All work orders will be transferred out of the old system by May 29, 2015. As always, you may call the IT Service Desk with any questions or issues.
