New IT Service Management Solution, Cherwell, Coming April 22

As announced several months ago, changes are coming to the way you interact with Information Technology. IT is replacing the current work order system with a fully featured service management solution called Cherwell. The rollout date is set for Wednesday, April 22.

New IT Features

You will still be able to use the same link to place an incident or request to IT, but you will also be able to experience additional features, such as:

  • See any outages and information on known problems
  • View announcements
  • Look up the status of open requests
  • Choose your issue/request from a list/catalog of available services
  • Ability for IT to better track and manage incidents and requests in order to provide more streamlined and efficient services
