Women and Gender Studies Open House April 9

The Webster University Women and Gender Studies program will host a Spring Open House for prospective students, Thursday, April 9, from 4-6 p.m. in the University Center Sunnen Lounge on the Webster Groves campus. The event offers an opportunity to meet with program faculty, current students and organization representatives to discuss program offerings, curriculum content, research projects, extra-curricular activities and internships.

Women and Gender Studies rally

Prospective students can meet with faculty, current students and organization representatives at the Women and Gender Studies open house.

Highlights will include information tables featuring representatives from organizations that focus on women and gender topics. In addition, Webster students will give brief presentations on their research.

A schedule of events and information tables are listed below.

The Women and Gender Studies program guides students in analyzing the physical, psychological, social, political and economic factors that oppress and empower men and women on a global scale. Appetizers and beverages will be provided.
