SLSO Concertmaster Seminar Highlights Rest of Spring Music Performance, Seminar Schedule

| March 31, 2015
David Robertson addresses music students and faculty.

Guest seminars, ensembles concerts, recitals and more highlight the 26 remaining events on theĀ  Department of Music spring calendar.

On-campus music performances are a great way to see Webster University talent on display while supporting students and faculty members. For Department of Music students, they’re also a convenient way to attain recital credits needed to complete semester or program requirements.

There are still many such opportunities this spring. From student recitals to performance ensembles, the department offers something to see and hear for everyone.

In fact, 26 such opportunities remain in the spring semester:

  • Seminars: 1
  • Opera Scenes: 1
  • Concert Series: 3
  • Webster University Ensembles: 3
  • Jazz at Webster Combos: 4
  • Student/Graduate/Faculty Recitals: 14

The final seminar of the year will be with David Halen, the concertmaster for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Halen’s seminar will be April 10 from 3-4 p.m. in the Thompson Music Building Recital Hall.

As always, to check out the schedule of upcoming performances and events, check the Department of Music section of the Events Calendar.
