Gorlok Baseball scored big over spring break.

The Webster baseball team won their fifth straight game over the weekend, knocking off four top-25-ranked teams in the process. The Gorloks’ latest victim was No. 24 Eastern Connecticut State University, who they defeated 12-3 on March 13, at Auburndale, Florida, to finish their spring break trip.

After Webster dropped out of the d3baseball.com top 25 last week, it proceeded to beat No. 10 Wisconsin-Stevens Point, No. 14 Rhodes College, and No. 16 Marietta College, in addition to Eastern Connecticut, within a five-day span. In between this performance was also an 11-1 defeat of Waynesburg University.

Webster opens play in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) with a weekend series vs. Iowa Wesleyan College March 21-22 also at GCS Ballpark.
