Faculty Present Current Events ‘Sustainability Success Stories’ Panel March 19

The Sustainability Studies Committee invites the community for a panel of presentations and discussion highlighting current events with positive implications for the environment, economics and social equity.

“Sustainability Success Stories: A Panel Presentation” will take place Thursday, March 19, 3-4:20 p.m. in the East Academic Building, Room 253/262.

Topics include:

  • “Corporate Social Responsibility Efforts that Make a Real Difference,” with Ann Mack, adjunct professor, Education for Global Sustainability
  • “The U.S.-China Carbon Emissions Agreement,” with Amanda Rosen, assistant professor, History, Politics, and International Relations
  • “Environmental and Sustainability Education,” with David A. Wilson, adjunct professor, Sustainability Studies and Biological Sciences

Also coming soon, those interested in sustainability topics won’t want to miss the 2015 Webster University Sustainability Conference held March 27-28 in the East Academic Building. A range of topics and presentations for this year’s conference, with the theme of “Strange Connections,” will highlight the often strange bedfellows who come together to advance sustainability issues.
