Webster University Chamber Singers, led by Trent Patterson, are on a Spring Break 2015 tour this week. The group started in Springfield on Friday and sang at the Community of Christ Temple in Independence, Missouri, on Sunday.

School visits in Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma are set for the next four days. The tour commenced with a home concert last week at the Sheldon Concert Hall.

When the tour is complete, the choir will have performed at a dozen high schools, on the Dome & Spire Concert Series at the Temple in Independence, and as the headline group at a choral festival in Columbia, Missouri.

Over the last year, the Chamber Singers have also performed in special appearances at the Missouri Music Educators Association and the regional convention of the American Choral Directors Association. The Department of Music recently produced a promotional CD, Beginnings, featuring a wealth of styles and eras recorded in five different venues, to showcase their work from the last two academic years.
