Chamber Singers to Perform at The Sheldon March 4, Tickets Available

Webster University Chamber Singers will perform at the Sheldon Concert Hall on March 4 before departing for their Midwestern tour.

Members of the Webster community are invited to the Webster University Chamber Singers home concert on Wednesday, March 4, at 7.30 p.m. inside the Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis. The concert will feature music the 20-voice choir will take on tour to various stops in Missouri (Springfield, Columbia, Kansas City); Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Wichita, Kansas. Joining the Chamber Singers at the Sheldon are students in Camerata from the Grand Center Arts Academy, led by Wes Smith.

Tickets to the home concert at $10 (cash or check only) at the door. The Sheldon is located in the Grand Center arts district and parking is adjacent to the building, or on the street.  (The Sheldon is behind the Fox, just west of Grand Avenue.)

The Chamber Singers, led by Trent Patterson, ride a wave of success and acclaim as they present their pre-tour home event. One year ago, the Chamber Singers performed at both the Missouri Music Educators Association annual meeting and the regional gathering of the American Choral Directors Association. Just last month, the Chamber Singers released a new compact disc recording, Beginnings, featuring tracks from these convention performances, other tour concerts, and performances in St. Louis.
