Webster Groves Campus Alert, Theft Prevention Tips

| February 25, 2015

The Department of Public Safety, in conjunction with Housing and Residential Life, is investigating incidents of theft at Maria Hall and Glen Park Apartments. While these incidents did not cause any physical harm to residents, they are a reminder that we, as members of this University community, must maintain awareness within our immediate surroundings and take individual responsibility to protect our personal property.

Please take a moment and familiarize yourself with the following preventative measures:

  • Record serial numbers of electronics and mark personal property in an inconspicuous manner.
  • Do not leave items of value unattended and in open view.
  • Control access to your residential area by ensuring that door and window locks are secured.
  • Report malfunctioning door and window locks to Housing and Residential Life staff.
