Cashier Window Changes Affect Service Hours, Check Cashing

Webster University’s Bursar’s Office announces several changes to the Business Office cashier windows, affecting service hours and check cashing services.

Service Hours

In an effort to minimize costs and maximize effectiveness, the hours and services offered at the cashier windows in Webster Hall will be changing . Effective Monday, March 2, the new hours will be 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

A secured drop box is available in the hallway outside the cashier windows for students to drop off check payments after hours. Please ensure the student name and student ID are clearly identified on check payments to ensure accurate application of the payment.

Credit card payments and electronic check payments may be made 24 /7 through the Connections Portal. After logging into Connections, click the student tab and then select the “Make a Payment” option in the Student Account Financial Services box on the right side of the page. Student account balance, billing statements and 1098-T tax forms are also available online.

Check Cashing Discontinued, ATM Locations

In addition, the services offered will no longer include cashing personal checks. Webster University students and employees currently have the ability to cash personal checks at the cashier windows up to $50. This check cashing service is being discontinued.

There are four ATM machines located on Webster’s home campus. A US Bank ATM is located in the lower level of the East Academic Building. In addition, Higher One ATM machines are located across from the information desk in the University Center, in the west lobby of Sverdrup Building and the Loretto Hall entrance to Marletto’s Marketplace.
