Webster’s women’s cross country team won its second consecutive Team Academic Award.

The women’s cross country team has earned a United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2014 Team Academic Award. The team members compiled a cumulative 3.22 grade point average to qualify for the award.

Teams eligible for the USTFCCCA Team Academic Award are required to have a minimum 3.1 cumulative grade point average and to have had five runners participate in at least five meets for the season. The Webster team was one of 211 award-winning teams nationwide, including three from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC). Joining Webster as award winners in SLIAC were Greenville College and Principia College.

This is the third time head coach Dan Graber, in his second year at Webster, has had a team earn a USTFCAAA Academic Award. Both the men’s and women’s track and field teams earned the award for 2013-14.
