MCISA Presents ‘Manifest Your Destiny’ with Hill Harper Feb. 23

Webster University’s Multicultural Center and International Student Affairs (MCISA) present “Manifest Your Destiny” with keynote speaker Hill Harper. The lecture will be held Monday, Feb. 23, in the Loretto-Hilton Center on the home campus from 6:30-9 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Humanitarian, philanthropist, author, health and wellness ambassador/educator Harper is also an actor, most recognizable for his roles on the CBS television show CSI: NY and the USA Network spy drama Covert Affairs. He is the founder of the Manifest Your Destiny Foundation, dedicated to empowering underserved youth through mentorship, scholarship, and grant programs. Ivy League-educated Harper, a graduate of both Brown University and Harvard Law School, will share his personal story, highlighting why education is the ultimate stepping stone to success.

He will also discuss beliefs outlined in his acclaimed empowering series of books. Harper’s books include The Conversation and The Wealth Cure, which chronicled his diagnosis with thyroid cancer and his journey to health. His other books, Letters to a Young Brother and Letters to a Young Sister, have won several awards. There will be a book signing promptly after the lecture, and the books will be available for purchase.
