Webster Students Enjoy ‘Selma’ Preview with U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands

U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands Timothy Broas welcomed 10 Webster students to a private preview of “Selma.”

To celebrate Black History Month, Timothy Bass, U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands, invited Webster University to be represented at a private preview of the Oscar-nominated film Selma.

The movie is a chronicle of Martin Luther King’s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965.

Ten students from Webster University the Netherlands enjoyed this private preview in the Hague. The movie gets its full premier in the Netherlands on Feb. 19.
